Lorie worked in a condo with 3-bedrooms, 3-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a Chinese family of 4 with a 3- and 5-year-old, and she looked after their wellbeing. Daily, she cleans and tidy the house, prepare and cook for the family, wash and clean up the kitchen and utensils after use, do laundry, ironing and folding, wash and clean the family car. She didn't complete the contract due to a lack of food, insufficient rest, having to wash curtains and bedsheets by hand.

8 months (Nov 2012 – Jul 2013) as a helper in Singapore

Lorie worked in a condo with 3-bedrooms, 3-toilets, a living room, store room and kitchen for an Indian family of 6 with a 14-, 16-, 70- and 74-year-old, both elderly couples were paralyzed patients, and she looked after their wellbeing. Daily, she cleans and tidy the house, prepare and cook for the family, wash and clean up the kitchen and utensils after use, do laundry, ironing and folding. She didn't complete the contract because she couldn't handle the workload and the two paralyzed elderly.

6 months (Jul 2013 – Jan 2014) as a helper in Singapore

Lorie worked in a HDB flat with 2-bedrooms, 2-toilets, a living room, store room and kitchen for an Indian family of 3 with a 4-year-old, and she looked after her wellbeing. Daily, she cleans and tidy the house, do marketing, prepare and cook for the family, wash and clean up the kitchen and utensils after use, do laundry, ironing and folding.

(Feb 2014 – Sep 2021)

Returned home, looked after her family welfare, and applied to work in Kuwait. Daily, she cleans and tidy the house, do marketing, prepare and cook the daily meals, wash and clean up the kitchen and utensils after use, do laundry, ironing and folding, wash and clean the three cars, tend to garden and plant watering. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to learn and adapt to new culture, experience and save up.

(Dec 2023 – present)

Return home, looks after her family welfare, and seek new job opportunities.



Cooking

She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes. In her previous experiences, she prepared and cooked basic Chinese, Indian and Arabic dishes, such as tomato rice, chicken brilliance, sambar, rasam, fish and egg curry, dosai, rubian, fish and laham musbus, and bamya curry etc.



Childcare

She is keen to look after children and/or infant.



Elderly Care

She is keen to look after the elderly.



Pet Care

She is keen to look after pets. In Kuwait, she fed two felines and kept clean the pet areas.



Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour.
