Charito worked in a HDB flat with 2-bedrooms, 2-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a family of 4. Daily, she does general house cleaning chores, do marketing, prepare and cook for the family, do laundry, ironing and folding. She didn’t worked long, as the lived-in daughter-in-law assisted in the household chores.

1 year 11 months (Jul 2019 – Jun 2021) as a helper in Singapore

Charito worked in a 2-storey landed property with 4-bedrooms, 4-toilets, a living room, garden, garage and kitchen for a family of 3 with a 100-year-old female, and she looked after her welfare. Daily, she does general house cleaning chores, do marketing, prepare and cook for the family, do laundry, ironing and folding, wash and clean the family car, tend to garden and plant watering.

10 months (Jun 2021 – Apr 2022) as a helper in Singapore

Charito worked in a condo with 2-bedrooms, 2-toilets, a living room and kitchen for an Indian couple. Daily, she does general house cleaning chores, do marketing, prepare and cook for the family, do laundry, ironing and folding, wash and clean the car. She didn’t complete the contract due to lack of food.

3 months (Apr 2022 – Jul 2022) as a helper in Singapore

Charito worked in a condo with 3-bedrooms, a toilet, living room and kitchen for a family of 2 with a 47-year-old bedridden female with bones problem, and she looked after her welfare, together with a co-helper. Daily, she cleans and tidy the patient’s bedroom, do weekly laundry and folding. She didn’t complete the contract, as the employer needed a private nurse to look after her health condition.

1 year 6 months (Jul 2022 – Jan 2024) as a helper in Singapore

Charito worked in a condo with 3-bedrooms, 2-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a Filipino family of 3 with an 8-year-old, and she looked after her welfare. Daily, she does general house cleaning chores, do marketing, prepare and cook for the family, do laundry, ironing and folding. She didn't complete the contract as she decided not to renew the contract. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to save up.

Returns home, take rest and seek new job opportunities.



Cooking

She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes. In her previous experiences, she prepared and cooked basic Arabic and Chinese dishes, such as kebabs soup, chicken curry, ABC soup, steam fish etc.



Childcare

She is keen to look after children and/or infant and she looked after her own since birth.



Elderly/ Patient Care

She is keen to look after the elderly.



Pet Care

She is keen to look after pets. In Singapore, she groomed and fed a Siberian Husky, walked the dog and kept clean the pet areas.



Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour.



2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.
