Haryani has all along work with Chinese families.

Haryani started working as a domestic helper in Singapore in . Her first employer lives in a 2-storey landed property. Her contract was renewed after two years however, it was cut short when her employer downgraded to a smaller home.

Haryani work for the second employer for months, mainly taking care of children. Nearing the end of her contract, her employer no longer require her services. She was given a choice to return to Indonesia or transfer out to a new employer. She decided to transfer out and was allowed an early release.

She moved on to her third employer who lives in a 5-storey landed house. Though it was only a small family of three, Haryani was often alone in the house with the furnitures all covered up in cloth. All but 2 rooms were unoccupied. Feeling uncomfortable especially at night, she handed in a transfer request.

Haryani's next employer requires her to take care of a newborn baby. Now, months into her contract, the baby too is months old.

Her current employer requires her to perform eldercare duties. She has to care for AhMa independently. AhMa is in her s, able bodied but weak legs. Haryani's manages all things pertaining to AhMa.

Haryani previously work in Honk Kong for over years. She take care of the family and eventually move on to care for the employer's elderly as they aged. She is fluent in Cantonese and understand some Chinese. She also speaks English. Haryani can also prepare various Chinese dishes as well as Indonesian and some Western food. She is also not afraid of dogs.
