Experiences

2 years (2011 – 2013) as a helper cum working student in the Philippines

Sunshine worked in a bungalow with 2-bedrooms, a toilet, living room and kitchen for a family of 3. Daily, she does general house cleaning chores, prepare and cook for the family, wash and clean kitchen and utensils after use, laundry, ironing and folding.

(2014 – 2016)

Stayed home, took rest and applied to work in Dubai.

2 years 3 months (Aug 2016 – Nov 2018) as a helper in Dubai

Sunshine worked in an apartment with 2-bedrooms, a toilet, living room and kitchen for a Pakistani family of 4 with a 14- and 16-year-old, and she looked after their welfare. Daily, she does general house cleaning chores, prepare and cook for the family, wash and clean kitchen and utensils after use, laundry, ironing and folding.

(Dec 2018 – Oct 2021)

Returned home, looked after her family welfare and applied to work in Qatar.

2 years (Nov 2021 – Nov 2023) as a helper in Qatar

Sunshine worked in a 3-storey house with 3-bedrooms, 5-toilets, 2-living rooms, 2-prayer rooms, a garden, garage and kitchen for a Qatari family of 5, together with drivers and 2 Filipina co-helpers. Daily, she cleans and tidy the ground floor with 2-prayer rooms, 2-toilets and a big living room, assist with laundry, ironing and folding. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to widen her experience to be a better helper.

(Dec 2023 – present)

Returns home, looks after her family welfare and seek new job opportunities.



Cooking

She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes. In Dubai, she prepared and cooked basic Arabic dishes, such as biryani, machboos, sambosa and chicken curry.



Childcare

She is keen to look after children / infants, and she looks after her own since birth.



Pet Care

She is keen to look after pets and back home, she grooms and feed an Aspin, keep clean the pet areas.



Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour.



2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.
