Chandi has been with our family helper for the last two and half years. We are a family of 4 with children aged and 9, who absolutely love Chandi. Chandi is able to follow recipes and cooks a great curry. Chandi is a happy, polite, capable and independent worker that requires minimal management. She is diligent in her work and ensures that our house is organised and always clean. I organise a weekly shop that is delivered but Chandi manages the order list and ensures that we never run out of essentials at home. She will often pop to the shops whilst out for her evening walk. She is incredibly trustworthy and has always has my full confidence. She uses our family Revolut card for day-to-day shopping. She follows a basic weekly food plan which I create and adds items to the shopping list if we are running low on essential ingredients. Chandi supports both my children who are learning to cook simple meals. Chandi is very respectful of the family's privacy and space. She enjoys walking and often goes for a stroll in the evening when all of the daily jobs are done. She is also happy to pick up food essentials such as bread and milk whilst on her walk. This works very well for us. This also allows us space as a family, which is important to us. We have never had to discuss curfews with her, as Chandi is a very principled and reliable worker. We have loved having Chandi as part of our family and she will be missed by us all when we return to UK. We are hoping that Chandi finds a family which is committed to staying in Singapore for the long term, as we feel sad that we are having to let her go after a relatively short time with us.
