Endah is a mature helper who takes initiatives when working. I asked if she has a housekeeping schedule which she follows in her previous employment and her reply was “Yes, my employer gave me but I cannot just wait for instructions and do what is asked. Like I see things dirty, I must clean it when my schedule got time. ” I asked for an example and she quoted that her last employer’s curtains were dirty and she was taking it down to wash. Her employer stopped her and told her that they only wash once a year at most. Helper had no choice but to hang it back. I asked her how she felt about this experience, she replied “I am ok lah, I put back. But actually I cannot tahan cos it is so dusty already and we got children at home. Every employer got their own pattern so I follow. ” She went on to share that maybe because she was a trainer before so she is a little fussy about housekeeping but she will still respect the employer’s choice and follow instructions.

Endah will be suitable for a family with children, she is willing to care for infant as long as employer is willing to let her learn as her last infant experience was caring for her own son. She hopes to go for classes on Sundays to learn more skills as back in hometown, she will not have these opportunities.
